My name is Supapong Laodheerasiri, I was born in Chiang Rai, Thailand in 1985. I currently live and work in Chiang Rai and Bangkok, Thailand. I am an artist, an independent lecturer and an amateur curator. Furthermore, I was a special instructor at Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Architecture, King Mongkutʼs Institute of Technology Landkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand between 2013 and 2016. I graduated with Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting (First Class Honours) from Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2009 and graduated with Master of Fine Art with Merit from The Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow, United Kingdom in 2018. 

     I had art exhibitions in Thailand and some countries: the United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea and Taiwan. For example, in 2019, (Assumption), a solo art exhibition at Gallery VER, Bangkok, Thailand, Dare You Do This? FFFF It!, a group art exhibition at Taiwan Gangshan Dist Contemporary Art Warehouse International Exchange Programme, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. In 2018, Unsettled Dust - Asian Short Film Festival at Asian Culture Station at Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow, United Kingdom, Off the Grid, a public art project at Merchant City and Tontine, Glasgow, United Kingdom. In 2014, Messy Sky Live Edition #02: 101 words / 101 kilobytes, an art project at Friends with Books: Art Book Fair Berlin, Cafe Moskau, Berlin, Germany. In 2012, Art 20 Kg. (Session 2), a group art exhibition at Artspace MITE-Ugro, Gwanju, South Korea. In 2008, Beautiful (Bangkok), a solo art exhibition at The Art Center, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Furthermore, in 2019, I was a guest speaker in some places: Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand, VT Artsalon, Taipei, Taiwan, Tainan University of Arts, Tainan, Taiwan, and Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Bangkok, Thailand. In addition, in 2019, I curated Metaphorical Landscapes, a group art exhibition at Baan Tuek Art Centre, Chiang Mai, Thailand. 

     In my contemporary art practice, I usually apply images in a conceptual manner, using a variety of media and techniques, while emphasizing the presentation and expression of my concepts. Several my artworks explore the questions about perceptions and interpretations of objects and language, for example, when positions, functions or contexts of objects and language are shifted or moved, their definitions become different or ambiguous. The shifts of them cause the alternative choices of evaluation or understanding, with new issues arising.
